The Carrillo Dinning Commons

All-you-can-eat, buffet-style meals are served daily in the remodeled Carrillo Dining Commons adjacent to the residence halls.

Guests may take advantage of separate buffet stations which feature California Pizza Kitchen-style fresh pizza, freshly baked breads, a wholesome salad bar, several hot entrees, freshly baked desserts, a Mongolian grill, pasta bar, hamburgers, hot dogs and much more.

Campus Options

The UCSB Campus is full of dining opportunities, especially at the University Center (UCEN). The UCEN is a  pleasant 10 minute walk from the Summer Inn and houses a number of options such as sandwiches, fast food, mexican food  and pizza.  Plenty of seating is available inside and out. Looking for an inexpensive meal?  The bordering student community of Isla Vista has restaurants to suit everyone's tastes.  Sample mexican, taste sushi, or devour soup and sandwiches, Isla Vista has it all!
